My work is composed of series of sculptures that feature realistic fictional lifeforms that come from an alien world that I have created. As science fiction usually does, the sculpture will provide a mirror to our own lives and feature universal concepts that exist past this world: birth, life, and death. They have their own unique anatomy, evolutionary tree, society, and biology has seems to be different from organisms on Earth but represent another developmental pathway life on Earth could have taken. This world represents a “path not taken” of our evolution, what we could have been instead of who we are today. The main goal of my project will be to speak on the human condition by using my science fiction world, populated with creatures completely alien and physically incomparable to actual humans.
